We want you to be satisfied with your Datebook experience. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on premium subscriptions.

1. Free Trial

Datebook offers free features to all users. Premium subscriptions provide access to advanced AI capabilities. We encourage you to explore the free features before upgrading to ensure Datebook is right for you.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your premium access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
  • Your account reverts to free-tier access after the billing period ends.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time within the current billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Within 48 hours of first purchase: If you are not satisfied with your first premium subscription, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of your initial purchase. This applies to first-time subscribers only.
  • Technical issues: If a technical error caused you to be charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charges, charges after cancellation), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charges.
  • Service unavailability: If the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your billing period due to issues on our end, you may request a prorated refund.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made more than 48 hours after the initial purchase (for first-time refund requests)
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated compatibility results (AI assessments are not guarantees)
  • Failure to cancel before the renewal date of a recurring subscription
  • Changes in personal circumstances unrelated to the Service

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@datebook.love with the following information:

  • Your registered email address
  • Date of the transaction
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Transaction ID or receipt (if available)

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. The exact timing depends on your payment provider. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed.

7. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly at support@datebook.love before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
